Team Umbrella is an independent, owner-managed agency working in the MICE sector. That’s Meetings. Incentives, Conferences, Exhibitions (we prefer to say Events). MICE is in our DNA. It’s our lifeblood. It’s as natural to us as taking our next breath.
TU was born in 2011, from an idea that had been discussed by two industry professionals with several decades of experience. Both felt that there was a need for a radical new approach to events, where the client comes first, and the agency does whatever is necessary to ensure maximum client satisfaction. Our aim is to create outstanding events, giving our clients an unforgettable experience.
TU has grown steadily in its first ten years, and we are now recognised for our innovative approach to events, with meticulous attention to detail being our trademark. Considered by some to be Europe’s top MICE agency (well, by us at least!) we are constantly striving to bring our clients a serviced that is unparalleled and unsurpassed within the industry.
In 2020 TU gained ISO9001 accreditation. This demonstrates a commitment to maintaining quality standards in all that we do.
And this is just the beginning. We aim to continue setting the standards for others to aspire to. Our drive and enthusiasm grow daily, and our unrivalled network of connections grows with it.
Team Umbrella is also one of the founder members of the Alliance of Independent Events Agencies (www.aiea.co.uk), an industry body for independent UK events agencies.
Anna makes things happen. With more than 25 years’ experience in travel and events, Anna is loved and respected in equal measure by clients and suppliers alike. We’re pretty fond of her too! Her attention to detail, and her skill in ensuring that everything is in place to make an event run perfectly, show why our clients love to work with her. As a trained dancer and fitness fanatic, Anna appreciates and embodies the value of hard work, and her work ethic and preparation are second to none. Anna is also a fluent Swedish speaker.

Martin loves to talk. Often attending trade shows and forums, Martin is constantly seeking out new products, venues and destinations, meaning that TU are ahead of the curve and can offer clients a solution that may not have appeared on their radar. A former rugby player and keen Harlequins fan, Martin exemplifies our approach – the perfect event is only achieved through mountains of hard work behind the scenes.
